Some have tried to \u201cshoe horn\u201d Genesis 3:16 as a \u201claw\u201d that silences women.\u00a0 This connection is not possible.\u00a0 For women like myself who have very supportive husbands who encourage me to use my gifts for the benefit of the body of Christ (including benefiting men), I am not being silenced at all by Genesis 3:16 no matter how the \u201che will rule over you\u201d is taken.<\/p>\n
So where is the \u201claw\u201d that silences women in the assembly?\u00a0 One cannot interpret this passage without finding the elusive law.<\/p>\n
