While this blog is mostly always about the issue of women in ministry, today I digress so that I can pass on some of the cute sayings of my four year old grandson Isaac.\u00a0 Above is Isaac and his mom Misty (my daughter).\u00a0 From Misty\u2019s \u201cFunny things my kids have said to me\u201d file:<\/p>\n
1.\u00a0 Just this morning Isaac called out to me from the bathroom\u2026\u201dMOOOMMY!\u00a0 YOU GAVE ME TOO MUCH CARROTS!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
2.\u00a0 Isaac spent a lot of time yesterday \u201cbaking\u201d floam cookies for the company we were having later that evening.\u00a0 (Floam is like playdoh but it doesn\u2019t dry out).\u00a0 While he was baking he says, \u201cMom?\u00a0 God is giving me PASSION to do this!!!\u201d\u00a0 (Isaac takes after his Grandma in the passion department!)<\/p>\n
3.\u00a0 \u201cYou know our bones do what we do!\u00a0 When we walk, they walk!\u201d \u2013 Isaac.<\/p>\n
4.\u00a0 While eating macaroni at lunch\u2026\u201dI didn\u2019t even bite the noodle!\u00a0 It went SURFING down my neck!!\u201d<\/p>\n
5.\u00a0 \u201cWhat does that say, mom?\u201d\u00a0 \u201cTotal.\u201d\u00a0 \u201cOooohhh.\u00a0 That\u2019s like \u201cturtle\u201d in Spanish, right?\u201d<\/p>\n
6.\u00a0 After staring at his Grandpa for a long time and analyzing all his features, Isaac finally just said, \u201cSo\u2026..WHOSE tummy did you come out of again?\u201d<\/p>\n
7.\u00a0 When I tuck Isaac in at night, I always ask him what he wants me to pray for.\u00a0 One night he said, \u201cMom, can you please pray that you wouldn\u2019t throw all my toys in the garbage?\u201d<\/p>\n
8.\u00a0 \u201cPon-a-grab-it\u201d is a Pommegranate.<\/p>\n
9.\u00a0 Isaac was looking through our wedding photo album and said, \u201cThis book is REALLY OLD isn\u2019t it mom?\u201d\u00a0 I rolled my eyes and said, \u201cYes, it\u2019s 11 years old.\u201d\u00a0 His response\u2026\u201dWOW! DIRTY SKUNKS!! THAT\u2019S OLD!!\u201d<\/p>\n
10.\u00a0 \u201cMom, boys are male, girls are \u201cemail\u201d, right?\u201d<\/p>\n
