This blog is for dialogue on the issue of women in ministry and the freedom for women to teach the bible in a public setting. It is also for questions and answers on our DVD entitled "Women in Ministry: Silenced or Set Free?" This 4 DVD set answers the hard passages of scripture that seem to restrict women's ministry.

I also felt it was important to show the areas where I could agree with them. My goal was to treat these men with dignity and respect the same way that I would want to be treated if I was being refuted.

You did it all in Love and you told the truth and you did great for Our Lord Jesus! We needed to hear what they are saying from there own mouth that way they can't say you misquoted them or something. That's the best way to do it and that's how the Lord lead you. It's a good patten for all Christian to follow with correcting in love.

Thank you Don!

I found the audio tapes very shocking myself when I first heard them. Someone suggested that I just quote what these men say and not put their audio clips up but I thought that it was best to let them say it themselves so that their words and tone are noted as coming from them and not from me. I also felt it was important to show the areas where I could agree with them. My goal was to treat these men with dignity and respect the same way that I would want to be treated if I was being refuted.

Most people have told me that the amount of material in the series was overwhelming at first and they needed to watch it three times to catch everything. At that point something clicked and they "get" it. We will be at another ministry conference in August at the same time as you are at the conference for CBE. Feel free to tell others about the DVD so that the word will spread. The series has helped many, even Pastors, be free of faulty traditions. For that we are so grateful to our Lord Jesus for his faithfulness in helping us produce WIM. It was a long difficult project and I especially needed God's help because at times I felt it was too tough a job to visually explain the concepts in scripture that I saw so clearly. The fact that so many eyes are being opened is due to the faithfulness of God's leading and directing not to my own abilities.

I was already an egalitarian and was looking for additional insights into interpreting 1 Tim 2 and I believe God led me to your DVD series. There is certainly a lot to digest. Thank you for your faithfulness. I especially liked your gentle spirit.

I was totally in shock about the details of what some gender hierarchicalists teach, I did not realize they went so far. I also appreciated where you agreed with them where possible.

Keep up the good work in our Lord Jesus.
